A Message from our founder
Relocating to Australia as a qualified teacher should be an opportunity, not a challenge. Yet many migrant educators arrive highly skilled, experienced, and passionate, only to face complex teacher registration requirements, unfamiliar workplace expectations, cultural differences in classrooms, difficulty translating overseas experience into the Australian context, and isolation without a professional community. CohorEd was created to bridge that gap. Founded in Hobart, Tasmania, with a vision for national reach, CohorEd exists to ensure migrant teachers don’t just survive the system, they thrive within it. We believe belonging comes before performance, clarity builds confidence, and community changes everything.
